Das Gemeinschaftgrab wird dominiert von drei 7m langen 80cm mal 2,2m monolithischen Wänden. Der Wetterschutz wird von massiven Bronzeplatten gewährleistet. Das besondere an diesen Wänden zeigt sich durch Holkammern die eingestampft wurden. Bei der Bestattung wird die Asche in die Lehmwände gelehrt und mit Lehmerde bedeckt. So können bis zu 300 Bestattungen in einer Lehmwand gemacht werden, die Beschriftung der Toten wird auf den Bronzeplatten eingraviert. So wird der Grabstein zum Grab selber und die normalerweise unsichtbare Erde des Grabes wird sichtbar. Das Konzept wurde mit der Möglichkeit entwickelt, dass man das gefüllte Grab als gesamtes der Erde zurückführen kann und eine neue Lehmwand errichtet wird.
The communal grave is dominated by three monolithic earthen walls measuring 7 m long, 2.2 m high, 80 cm thick, and capped with thick bronze plates for weather protection. The walls feature unique, embedded wooden chambers that have been rammed inside the monoliths. During the burial, the ashes are placed in the earthen walls and covered with clay. Each wall could host up to 300 burials and the inscriptions of the dead were engraved on the bronze plates. This integrated the gravestone into the grave itself and the normally invisible earth of the grave became visible. The rammed earth grave-wall concept was designed with the inevitability that one day, the filled grave could return to the earth, the ground as a whole, and a new earthen wall could take its place.
