Um dem Altarraum mit seinem dynamischen Barock Pole der Ruhe und Sammlung, der Achtsamkeit zu geben, ist die Gestaltung der liturgischen Elemente bewusst schlicht gehalten.
Auch im Sinne der Papst-Enzyklika »Laudato Si« mit dem Aufruf nach sozialer Ethik und einer Verantwortung gegenüber der Schöpfung werden nur lokale Materialien verwendet, die durch menschliche Arbeit, durch Handwerk veredelt werden.
Es ist eine Sehnsucht spürbar nach Orten der Stille und Ruhe, nach Einkehr, nach Einfachheit und Geborgenheit. Ein Material, das dieser Sehnsucht entspricht, das elementare Geborgenheit ausstrahlt ist Erde, Lehm. Anfang und Ende, ein Kreislauf, das bescheidenste Material, das uns trägt, das uns nährt und für das wir verantwortlich sind.
Den Gestaltern und der Gemeinde war es ein Anliegen, dass der Altar in gemeinsamer Bauarbeit mit der Gemeinde entsteht. Der Prozess hat den Gemeinschaftsgeist gestärkt und war ein besonderes Zeichen für eine lebendige Kirchengemeinschaft.

In order to give the chancel with its dynamic Baroque poles of tranquillity and collection, of mindfulness, the design of the liturgical elements is deliberately kept simple.
