The planned detached house in Nofels impresses with its clear, functional architecture and the use of regional materials. The house is based on the local conditions: Due to the existing development to the east, a compact design was chosen for a redensification. A low intermediate building connects the new and existing buildings, serves as the main entrance and leads to the garden via a gently rising ramp. A south-facing terrace extends the living space and provides a communal outdoor meeting place.

The new two-storey building stands on a slab foundation and combines contemporary construction with traditional elements. The load-bearing structure consists of a prefabricated timber construction, supplemented by Lehmit-ceilings. This combination enables a fast construction time, excellent insulation and a healthy indoor climate. The earth material used come from the region and promote energy efficiency and living comfort. Extensive roof greening improves the microclimate and increases thermal insulation. The integrated photovoltaic system enables self-sufficiency with renewable energy and sustainably reduces the ecological footprint of the house.

The project in Nofels is an example of condensed, resource-conserving construction. The conscious use of local materials and the combination of traditional and modern techniques have resulted in a house that combines ecological responsibility with contemporary living.
