ERDEN Tour

Schlins is home to the founder of Lehm Ton Erde, Martin Rauch. Since he began his work here, several projects have been created in the small town in Vorarlberg that are now internationally regarded as pioneering for contemporary rammed earth construction. These include the Atelier Rauch, the House Rauch, the ERDEN House and the Lehm Ton Erde workshop with an attached two-storey office wing.

We are delighted to be able to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for the material with visitors on site, because clay is best understood with your hands. Whether architectural offices, student groups, private clients or interested parties – our guided tours allow you to experience what rammed earth can do and the processes behind it.

The approximately one-hour tour through our workshop and office spaces comes with a contribution of EUR 200 net. Groups are limited to 20 participants. Customized tours and tailored formats can be arranged upon request.
