Flora and clay. In dialog with plants and earth
with Magdalena Türtscher and Anna-Pia Rauch

Take time to turn to the quiet wisdom of the plant world and the earthy presence of the clay.
Location: Seminarcenter Mühle in Buchboden & Atelier Erden Schule in Schlins
Date: 05.06 to 6.06.2026 14:00 – 19:00 each day
Costs: 270 euros, materials included, maximum of 10 participants
In this workshop, the wisdom of the plant beings from Flora and their qualities are translated into their own clay image. Clay acts as a mirror of inner movements, the plant creatures as gentle companions. Materials are explored, one’s own rhythm is experienced and an image is created that emerges from the creative impulse.
Flora’s 33 native plant creatures and their messages serve as inspiration and a starting point for the creative work. The focus is not on floral motifs, but on the question: What message of the plant should become visible?
The colors, shapes and structures of the clay painting follow the inner message. The composition of the picture emerges and is put into practice. Intuition and action flow together so that a visible work emerges from the impulse. The workshop concludes with a joint reflection on the creative process, the experiences and the connection between plant beings, intuition and clay design.
The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to experience materials with their senses, access intuitive design and implement creative processes in the form of a concrete image. It is suitable for those interested in art, nature lovers and people who appreciate practical and grounding design processes.
